Medical Office Administration are a vital part of the Healthcare team, performing administration duties in a hospital, clinic, and medical office.

● Greeting and assisting patients
● Creating and maintaining patient records

● Collecting and recording payments, and inputting data into computerized

What are the qualifications to register at Shades of Purple?
The student must be at least 18 years of age and have a High School Diploma or GED.
Is Shades of Purple accredited?
We are licensed through NC Community College however they are not an accreditation agency. Shades of Purple programs are licensed and accredited by NHA (National Healthcare Association) & AAPT (American Academy of Phlebotomy Technicians). We offer contact hours that are not transferable to another school.
Will I receive a certification after I complete a program?
Yes, all of our programs are licensed and you will receive a National Certification from licensing agency.
Where will I take my National Exam?
All National Exams will be administered at Shades of Purple we are a proctor testing site.
